Welcome to the Graduate Medicine Informant. Here you'll find lots of (hopefully) helpful information about graduate medicine courses in Australia, whether you're just thinking about trying for a medical place or sweating on GAMSAT results.
NOTE: The admissions system was significantly revised for 2012 entry! As of the 2012 entry admissions cycle, QTAC is managing the admissions process using a system called GEMSAS, whereby applicants can select up to six preferences and all interview scores are standardised and shared between graduate medical schools. The exception to this is the University of Sydney, who are breaking away from the GAMSAT consortium and will be managing their own admissions system (effectively giving everyone a 'second chance').
